In 2014, the first edition of “Social Passata di Pomodoro” was organized in the Mirafiori neighborhood of Turin. Pots, ladles, tomato presses, and locally grown tomatoes were shared for the event. The residents worked together to prepare tomato sauce and brought home the finished product. It has since become an annual event in the neighborhood.
